About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa needed for train travel

We will fly into Beijing with a 72 hour free transit - can we take a train to Xi'an for a day trip and return on train to Beijing for our flight to Hong Kong?

Tina, you cannot do that for the 72 hour policy only allows the traveler to transit in one Chinese city.
