About:Lingjing Hutong of Beijing

We are arriving in Beijing on a 72 hour transit visa - can we travel to Xian on the train?

We are not sure if we can travel out of Beijing under this visa just for a day trip to Xian

I'm afraid that you can not leave the administrative area of Beijing under the transit visa. If you want to go to Xian, you should apply for a Chinese visa.
