About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I get the Visa-free transit without a visa from a third country?

I’m traveling from the U.S. to Indonesia with a 21 hour layover in Beijing, but I don’t have an Indonesian entry permit, because I didn’t have to get one for my vacation in Indonesia. I have a valid passport and a ticket for my connecting flight, but no entry permit from a third country. Will i be allowed to leave the airport?

Hi, you are able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing even if you don't have visa for a third country, and you need to apply for a free temporary stay permit when you arrive at the airport, then you can leave there to visit the city. No need to worry and nice trip!
