About:China Transit Visa

Is a Thai qualified for 24 hour visa free transit from cruise terminal to airport on the same day?

I am a Thai going to Shanghai 3 days for touring.Then join a 5 day cruise to Japan. The ship comes back to Shanghai cruise terminal and I fly back to Bangkok on the same day from Shanghai Pudong airport.
How many entry visas I need to apply? One or two?

Hi, you won't qualify for 24 hour direct transit in mainland China. You need to apply for a double entries tourist L type for that. First, you need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Next, submit the application to CVASC.
