About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit free visa

My itinerary is from USA—Vietnam—Bejing—Osaka—USA. I will have a layover in HongKong for 2 hours on my USA—Vietnam leg. Am I qualified for the transit free visa?

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit. There is no doubt about it.

I would just stress the importance of correct terminology. This is not a visa, but visa free transit or in the other words, there is no visa of any kind at all. Have a nice visit to China.
