144 day Visa Free stay?

Hi. I’m an Australian citizen travelling to Shanghai next May (with my Australian sister). 5 nights at the Sheraton in Shanghai, then flying to HK for 6 nights before returning to Australia. Do we qualify for the 144 day free transit exemption? Many thanks!

Irene, if you travel like Australia – Shanghai (144 hours)-Hong Kong – Australia, you will be able to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
