About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour transit visa for Australian citizen

Hi I am Australian citizen. I am flying from Australia to Shanghai via Singapore then stay 2 nights in shanghai and board Majestic Princess to Hakata, Busan, Hongkong, Vietnam. Thai and Singapore. Am I covered free transit? Thanks

Because you are coming in Shanghai from Singapore and leaving Shanghai to Japan then 144 hr free transit is OK if using the required sea port: Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal or Wusong Passenger Transport Center

Thanks. What do you mean if using the required sea port? So I will apply for a transit G when I arrive Shanghai? And Am I allowed to board without a visa? Thank you

Hi, you are able to use 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that, and you are allowed to board without a visa. Nice trip!
