Visit Kunming from 28.11.17 to 6.12.17

Is it very cold during this time to visit? What to wear ?
How to make my 9 days enjoyable..in terms of sight seeing, food tasting and relaxation. Both my wife and I are 64 years old and we are not taking ground tour.

No, it won't be very cold then. KM is called Spring City because it is not very cold and the weather is like in spring all the time. During late Nov. and early Dec. the temp may range from 6C to 16C. There will be many cloudy days and several rainy days.

The must-sees include Dianchi Lake, Western Hills, Yuantong Temple, and Guandu Ancient Town. The surrounding sites include Stone Forest, Jiuxiang Scenic Area and Jiaozi Snow Mountain. Since you will spend 9 days there, I also suggest you tour around Lijiang and Dali.

For downtown travel, city bus, subway and taxis can be used. To get around, long-distance buses can be ok.
