About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Manila Xiamen Manila 72 visa-free??

I fly from US to Manila. Then I fly separately from from MNL to XMN to MNL after a week.
Does this still fall under the 72 free transit? Obviously, this isn't a transit flight.
Thought I still ask. Thanks.

MNL-XMN-MNL won't qualify for the 72 free transit because it isn't a transit flight. You are advised to apply for a visa for that in advance.
