About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a 24hr layover in Beijing. Will be traveling from US-Beijing-Philippines

Hello! I have a 24hr and 20 minutes to be exact, layover in beijing and a Philippine passport holder. Which entry permit will I have to apply for? the 24hr transit or the 72 hr? Also, I can just get it once I arrived at Beijing airport, right?

You need a visa because your transit is more than 24 hours, and you cannot get it on arrival in Beijing. Philippine nationality does not qualify for 72 hours free transit. If you can change your flight so your transit is less than 24 hours then you won't need a visa.

Philippine passport holders do not qualify for 72 hours free transit in mainland China. Your US green card won't help.
