About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Japan by ferry

I am from the UK, and will be travelling to China for 4 days from Japan. Can i get the 144hr transit visa if i come over by ferry into the Shanghai port or do i need to fly in to China for this to work?

Hi, it's possible for you to get the 144hr free transit if come over by ferry into the Shanghai port. You don't have to fly in to China for this. Don't worry!
