About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Cancelling residence permit abroad.

Curious if it's possible to leave China and have a residence permit cancelled at the local Chinese Embassy? If my employer provides me with the proper documentation?

Hi, I'm afraid you cannot do that. You are advised to have a residence permit cancelled at the local PSB before you leave mainland China.
