About:China Transit Visa

Transit visa for South African with permanent residence in Canada

I am a South African with permanent residence in Canada and I want transit in China, do I need to apply for a transit G?

Good day, I am planning on traveling to Bali from Canada and on my return to Canada, I need to transit in Shanghai at the Pudong airport, waiting time for connecting flight is about 9 hours. Thank you in advance for your help.

You can make use of 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, so no transit G type is required. Nice trip!
