About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Do i gave to first leave the country to get a working visa(Z)

Hello.iam Jimmy,a student in China.I have a student's (X2),and I want to apply for a work (Z).do I have to first exit the country to be issued a new Z type?

Jimmy, it's possible to convert your current X type to a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China. Just have a try!
