Leaving Shanghai on Cruise ship.

I arrive in Shanghai on a BA flight from the UK on 23rd February 2018, I have a booked hotel, Raddison Blu New World, for 2 nights. On 25th February 2018 I will leave Shanghai on a Princess cruise ship, at no time does the cruise return to China as the final port will be Singapore. Of course I will have all paperwork for hotel stay and boarding pass for Princess cruise ship. What I would like to know is can I take advantage of the 72 hour Visa Free transit.
