Hi I'm flying to Beijing next month and would like to make sure I do not need a visa before I fly. I am stopping in beijing for 2 nights before travelling to manila and have a British passport. Is it correct that I can acquire my 72 hour free transit exemption at beijing airport and leave the airport to visit the city?
