About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

Can I take an empty water bottle/flask through security at Pudong international?

I have read and found that other international airports allow empty water bottles that can be refilled after the security check point, as long as the bottle is empty when entering. I am traveling with a 3 year old, I know water is offered in flight, but have been told nothing gets served during turbulent weather, besides that our total traveling time is 22 hours, I hope to have water with me and not have to "hunt" for it. Thank you.

Yes, you can bring the empty water bottles that can be refilled after the security check point. You can refilled some water and bring the bottle on the plane. Don't worry. In addition, you can find the disposable cups beside water dispensers after the security check.
