About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a visa or can I do the 144 hour free?

I am cruising in and out of Shanghai traveling to Hakata, Busan, Hong King, HoChiMinh City, Bangkok, Singapore, Bangkok, HoChiMinh City, Hong Kong, Busan, Nagasaki and then back to Shanghai to fly home. I am not spending any time in any hotels on Shanghai - going just to and from the cruise ship.
