About:China Visa Exemption

I have to go to Taiwan first before going to Shanghai, do I still benefit the visa free scheme.

I am holding a French passport, and have been benefited to go to Shanghai travelling from France without visa for short stay couple of times. Please advise asap.

If you will travel like France-Taiwan-Shanghai-another country or region instead of Taiwan, you can use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. Nice trip!
