24 hour transit, can i?

Question

Can I enter China via Train from Mongolia stay in Beijing from 11:00 until 19:00 then go straight to Shanghai via bullet train, stay there 2 days, then go to Hong Kong and  fly out from HK.I'm a Canadian citizen

How can you imagine that 2 days in Shanghai could be covered by a 24 hour transit? You do know that Shanghai and Beijing are both in China? You need a visa for this.
