Document Verification in Australia

I am applying for a work Z for China. I am an Australian Citizen.
I need to have several documents verified, including my Masters Degree.
However, I studied in Poland and my degree is in Polish. I have an English translation of the original.
I was wondering, can I get this verified in Australia?
Also, what is the general process for getting documents verified in Australia? Do I just take them to the Chinese Consulate?

Any information would be appreciated!

If you get the study degree in Poland, I'm afraid you should get it verified in Poland. You should first get it notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland; and then go to the embassy of China to get that attested. Then you can use the verified degree.
