About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Traveling between terminals

I have a 10 hour layover in Pudong on China Eastern. I believe China Eastern operates out of T1. It seems there are more services in T2 than T1 (hourly hotel, club 77 lounge etc.). I am thinking I would prefer to spend my layover time in T2 than T1. How difficult is it to go between T1 and T2? How much time does it take? Do I have to clear immigration each time?

You can walk between terminals within 10-15min. You need to go through the immigration to spend in T2, but no visa is needed.
