About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australia to Beijing stopover for 8 hours

Do I need a visa to leave airport for a trip booked for 4 hours and returning to fly to Rome. If I have connection flight to Rome do I need to collect my baggage and return with it to check in again

Toni, you don’t need a visa because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou if you travel like that. Nice trip!
