About:China Visa Exemption

Do I need a visa for the 5 days in Shanghai ?

Hi, I'm traveling from usa to Shanghai to chiang mai (Thailand) and then back to Shanghai for 5days and then back to USA.

You do not and are eligible for the 144-hour transit in Shanghai.
