About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

10 hours layover at Guangzhou

We will be travelling from Philippines to Los Angeles California with a 10 hours layover at Guangzhou. We're planning to have a short tour at Guangzhou during our layover. Do we have to get a visa before traveling or the 24 hour free transit will be applicable for us?

Currently Guangzhou no longer allows people to exit the airport when in transit, so if you want to have a tour then you'll need a G type. Otherwise you won't be able to clear immigration.
