About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
Do I need to get a transit visa because I am leaving the airport?
Flying from Vancouver to Shanghai to Kunming to Kathmandu. The stop over in Kunming is 12 hours. Flying with China Eastern Airlines. They offer a complimentary hotel stop over. I am Canadian. My flight arrives Kunming at 7:25 pm on November 22 and departs for Kathmandu on November 23 at 12:40 pm.
