About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do we need any form of visa or transit document?

We are travelling from Sydney to UlaanBaatar on 5th and 6th October. We have an overnight of 23 hours in Beijing on the night of 5th October. We have a hotel booked in Beijing.

Neil, you are eligible for 24 hr direct transit in Beijing. No need to apply for a G type for that. But you are supposed to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport to stay in the hotel. Nice trip!
