About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

From Manila, we fly to Shanghai to take a cruise to Japan for 6 days .

the ship will go back to SH to disembark. We want to stay 48 hours in the city after the cruise before going back to Manila. We are Canadian citizens. Can we use 24 hr visa upon entry from Manila? Can we use 72-hr visa upon disembarkation to SH from Japan cruise? Please advise if we need to get a different or tourist visa for this.

Don’t worry, as I know, you can enjoy the 144 hour stay permit, but you need to tell the airline that you would like to enjoy this when boarding.

Thank you for your reply.So we can use the 24 hr on first arrival to Shangai from Manila nd 144-hr visa after our disembarkation.
