About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

7 hour layover in bejing

Traveling from united states to philippines with 7 hour layover in bejing. Can I leave airport and tour. Surrounding area for a couple hours .thank you.Chuck from arizona

Chuck, you are eligible for 24 hr direct transit in Beijing and you can leave the airport. You need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport, then you can leave there to explore the city.
