Can i enjoy this 144h free transit. Can you confirm?

Arrive in Beijing, from Canada
Leaving Xi'an by plane couple days later, for Hong Kong.

Then, from Hong Kong, flying to Canada via Shanghai. My guess is that i can stay 1 day in SH without a visa?

Yes, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit; just don’t forget to inform your airline you want to apply the stay permit when boarding. Have a nice trip!
