transfer with 2 separate tickets at pek

Question

I bought 2 tickets, From Ikt to Pek by s7 airlines and pek to ord(Chicago USA) by United airlines. Should I pick up my luggage or I can just recheck it in transfer zone? The time between flights is about 8 hours. Thanks

As I know, it is no need to recheck in at PEK. You will get the onward boarding pass at the transfer desk, where you should present your baggage tag receipt. Then the staff will help you to collect and check in your luggage.
