work z changed to tourist l?

Question

I currently have a work Z (due in a month) but due to some recent changes, will no longer be employed by my current job. As I do not have another job to work at, but would like to stay in China for a few months to enjoy the country, can I submit an application to change to a tourist L easily? And if there is another opportunity for work within this time, is it possible to change the new tourist L into a new work Z? Please advise and much appreciated!

Hi, it's possible for you to convert your current work Z type into an L type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China, and also it's possible for you change the L type to Z type as long as you can meet all requirements. Just have a try! Good luck!
