About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

can i change visa status from F/M to Z type if my employer is willing to support with the documents

I have 30 days to go for my F type to expire and my employer is willing to help me get a work permit in china. However i wanted to ask if i can get the same visa status changed without having to leave china.
I also wanted to ask the same for Tourist L type to work Z type.

Prateek, yes, it is possible. You can try to change the F/M/L type to a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, there is no need to exit China.
