About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

layover in BEIJING and shanghai

Hi there, Canadians traveling to Shang hai for three nights and BEIJING for three nights, and then heading to Hong Kong. Do we need a visa if I ensure we leave before 144 hours or can you not combine those two destinations?

Bari, you cannot enjoy 144 hour free transit in Shanghai because of your layover in Beijing. You need to apply for a visa for that before your trip!
