About:China Visa Exemption

Flying in shanghai for 3 hours layover

Flying to Canada in December. transiting in Shanghai for 3 hour plus. Air canada us advised to get an entry permit but i read that for less than 24 hours stay i dont need. Is this a new ruling for Shanghai? Philippine passport holder here

As I know, there is no new ruling for Shanghai, and you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in there. But if you are worried, you can apply for a visa beforehand for that. Just in case.
