About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a Chinese Visa for this?

Hello, I and my daughter are having a Canadian passport and valid ticket.
Our tickets are

1. Vancouver(02:30) - Shanghai(05:40) - Shanghai(10:30) - Qingdao(12:15) - Qingdao(18:20) - Seoul(20:40)
2. Seoul (18:25) - Shanghai (19:30) - Shanghai (00:15) - Vancouver(19:10)

If you see ticket #1, We are going to transfer two cities in China within less than 24 hours.
Then, Do We need an entry permit? We are going to stay at the airport
