About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a 22 hour layover in Beijing

Will I be allowed to leave the airport and visit the city in my layover?

If you travel like country A-Beijing (22 hours)-country B, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit and then you can leave the airport to visit the city.
