About:China Visa

Q1 for work.

I have a Q1 type and and was changed to resident permit because my husband is a chinese,but now i got a job.am i allowed to work with this type.what should i do?thank you.

Hi, you cannot work in mainland China legally under the Q type. You can try to convert your current type to a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
You should prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, work permit as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary.
Then, submit the application to the local PSB.
