About:China Transit Visa

Indian passport & want to leave the airport

I have an Indian passport with 13 hours layover in Beijing. I am headed to New Zealand. Can I leave the airport with the 24 hour transit ?

Yes, you can do that. But you need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport, then you can leave there to explore the city.
