About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Australia- beijing via hong kong

Can i fly from Australia to beijing via Hong Kong for 2 1/2 days to sightseeing & fly back to Hong Kong for a stop over then home to Australia on a 72hr free transit or do i need to apply for a tourist G?

Lisa, you need to apply for a tourist G because HK-BJ-HK is not a transit at all.
