Travel from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie... the fastest and shortest route by bullet train.

I would like to travel from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie in September. Can you tell me how should I go about it?
How many hours is needed?

You may take a bullet train from Chengdu Railway Station to Huaihua Railway Station first. Then you may transfer another train to Zhangjaijie Railway Station directly. The whole trip may take around 16.5-20 hours.

The mentioned train route is doable. However, to save time, it is best to take a plane. It only takes no more than 1.5h from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie.
