144 hours transit without visa in Guangzhou

I am a Canadian and is thinking of flying to GZ and then flying to Hong Kong for a visit before returning to Canada. Is my itinerary qualified for 144 hours transit without visa? Thank you.

Well, you cannot enjoy 144-hour visa free policy, since the CAN is just available for 72-hour visa free policy by now. However, you can only enjoy 72-hour free policy there.
