About:China Visa Exemption

From NYC to Hong Kong transiting via Shanghai and Guanzhou

Sorry, but I forgot to add that I intend to leave Shanghai's airport and spend the transit time in the city.

You are allowed to leave the airport to spend the transit time in the city.
