About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

From NYC to Hong Kong transiting via Shanghai and Guangzhou

Hello, Im travelling from NYC on China Eastern to Guangzhou via Shanghai where I have a 20 hrs layover. Once in Guangzhou, I plan to take a train to Hong Kong before the 24 hrs free transit is over. This way I still wont need a visa, correct?

thank you Jose. If I arrive in China at 8 pm, does it mean I have to depart before 8pm the next day, including the time for internal flights ?

It will start the counting from 00:00 the day following the entry date, so you have to depart before 24:00 the next day, including the time for internal flights
