do i apply for chinese exemptionwill i get at airportcruise port

Question

We fly from London to Singapore then cruise for 14 days and We arrive Shanghai at approx 7 am . I plan on having a Shanghai tour and be dropped off at Pudong airport for a flight from Shanghai to London . Must I apply for a exemption free Visa before We travel or will this be done at the airport or cruise port .

Robert, if you travel like Singapore-Shanghai (144 hours)-London, you can use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You don’t need to make any application in advance.
