Visa exemption if staying in the airport.

Hi,
Our flight with Air Canada Montreal to Singapore makes a stop in Shangai for 7 hours.
If we don't leave the airport do we need the exemption documents?

Hi, you are eligible for 24 hour direct transit in SH. You can go there directly by bringing your passport, the onward ticket, and enough travel fees.
