I am interested to visit both places in End October or Early  November and appreciate some information for planning.Chongqing and Chengdu1. Good and average hotel near to the central area for food and easy access to shopping and tourist spot and wet market.My budget for 2 in a room about SGD60. It will be advantage if there is a vegetarian rest. nearby.2. How many days is enough to stay in the two cities and which is the place we must visit.beside Dazu and Leishan and Ermei.3. Can I book the train ticket in the hotel? (From Chongqing to Chengdu)4. Can we travel by ourselves to the tourist spot or best to travel with local tour? (2 of them are elderly)ThanksThanks.

Hanting Express (Tianfu Square), located near People’s Square Metro Station in Chengdu may cost around CNY350/night for a standard room.2. Generally speaking, you can stay 4-5 days in Chengdu and around 5 days in Chongqing. Apart from the attractions you listed, you can also visit Jiefangbei, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Hongya Cave, Yangtze Cable Car, Nanshan, etc. in Chongqing and Jinli Ancient Town, Kuaizhaixiangzi, Chengdu Research Base of Panda Breeding, Dujiangyan, Qingchengshan,etc.3. Usually, you can ask the staff in hotel to help you book the ticket online.4. Since you have elders in your group, you are advised to join a tour, which may be more convenient in transportation and directions.
