how to transfer terminals at pvg?

We're flying from the philippines with kids to chicago via china eastern, transiting in PVG.  PVG-ORD is via united airlines. How to transfer from T1-T2 and how long will it take? will we need to recheck our baggage?

1.It’s in the walk distance, just walk east for about 600 yards, you will arrive T2, and it takes less than 10 minutes. And you can also take the free shuttle, which is available from 6:00 to 24:00 with the interval of about 10 minutes. It takes you about 5 minutes.2. You don’t need to recheck your baggage.
