Baggage claim during transit at PVG?

Hello. I am now talking about Shanghai's PVG. From what I read, a lot of people had to claim their baggage and check them in again, even if they were just transiting and it had their final destination tag. Is it possible that this is necessary only for some of the airlines? I'm having a transit in PVG, flying both flights with China Eastern. What is the possibility of having to claim my luggage too? I am quite worried.

By "both flights" I mean the flight from Czech to PVG and from Shanghai to my final destination.
