About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Less than 24 hr transit

Hello,
Does this qualify for the 72 hr transit?
Departure:
LAX - SHANGHAI (3 hrs) - HANEDA (7 days)

Return:
HANEDA - SHANGHAI (23.5 hrs) - LAX
We plan to stay in Shanghai on the return flight. Based on your FAQs we should qualify for the 72 hour Visa Free Transit rule. Is this correct?

Your input is appreciated.
Thank you.
